PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By registering, I acknowledge and agree to the following :
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in pickleball involves physical activity and risks, including falls, collisions, strains, sprains, injuries, or other accidents. I voluntarily participate and assume all risks associated with the event.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, venue, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and representatives from claims arising from my participation in the event, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Medical Treatment
I confirm that I am physically able to participate. In the event of an emergency, I authorize event personnel to obtain reasonable medical assistance for me. I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses.
Personal Belongings
I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings and equipment brought to the event.
Photography/Video Release
I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during the event and may be used for Gawad Kalinga fundraising, promotional, or social-media purposes.
Acknowledgment
I have read this waiver, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights by registering.
