Mayon Volcano has begun to erupt in the province of Albay, sending massive plumes of ash and gas into the sky and forcing thousands of families to flee their homes in search of safety.

More than 52,000 families have already been affected by the ongoing unrest of Mayon Volcano, and the numbers continue to rise. Thousands are now staying in evacuation centers, while many more families are still waiting for urgent support.

OPERATION WALANG IWANAN is now ACTIVATED.

Team GK is now in Guinobatan, Albay to extend immediate help to around 1,500 evacuated families. We are also preparing to reach affected communities in Camalig and Ligao as needs continue to grow by the day.

Families have been forced to leave their homes with very little to bring. Children, elderly, and entire communities are facing uncertainty, ashfall, and displacement.
