Nobel Gabasan is a music guru who teaches music to kids from Nursery to Year 6 at the ICHK Kindergarten & Primary in Hongkong. Nobel's goal is to share his passion and musicality with young children that he also set up a music school in his hometown in the Philippines.
Upon the invitation of GK USA - Los Angeles, California, Nobel has gathered some of his friends to share with us their gift of music to benefit our Child & Youth Development programs particularly our campaign against childhood hunger. He will be joined by Andrei Reyes, Randy Iblasin, Mayo Ong, Will Tan and Ray Yumul. They are all excited to jam together and contribute their talents in the fight against childhood hunger.
Join us on March 19, 2021, at 7 pm PST for a live acoustic jam session with Nobel and some of his friends all the way from Hong Kong.
We do recommend you register for the event early because early registrants can send their song requests for consideration during the live sessions.
The proceeds from this event will benefit the Child & Youth Development programs of Gawad Kalinga, particularly the Kusina ng Kalinga (Care Kitchen) in the Philippines.

About Nobel Gabasan
Nobel is a Hong Kong-based Music educator who graduated from UST's Music Conservatory and was the lead Musical Director of its Choir that has done shows globally including in several US states.
When asked about why he chose to be a music teacher, he shares "The idea of sharing what you know is something that is so precious and I can’t deny that passion that I have and my belief that everyone has the right to be musical. This idea has changed my concept to my profession and become a mainstream teacher."
About Randy De Silva Iblasin
Randy De Silva Iblasin is an architect who has been working as a Facade Engineer in Hongkong for 6 years now. A former Choir Director of St. Martin De Porres Guild Choir in Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City, he is presently the Baritone of the Harmonics Choir in Hong Kong.
Randy is really so passionate about helping children that he even created the poster- titled Mula sa Puso because it's lovingly inspired from the heart by the children and Youth.
About Ray Yumul
Ray is an aspiring artist and has appeared in films produced locally and internationally and has also performed in various events and showcases in HK, the Philippines and beyond.
About Will Tan
Will, a dog lover, is truly artistic as he is involved in both music and the arts. He is an art curator and a cake decorator. He is a conductor of the St Margaret's Church Choir for the past 8 years. He also sings Bass for the Harmonics Choir for the past 3 years.
About Andrei Reyes
A primary school Music teacher, Andrei moved to Hong Kong in 2015 as a Vocalist at Hong Kong Disneyland’s Mickey and the Wondrous Book. He was also a member of The University of Santo Tomas Singers which represented the Philippines in various competitions and festivals around the world.
About Mayo Ong
Mayo is a former Voice and Stage Performance coach at the Center for Pop Music Philippines and has performed in numerous events both in the Philippines and Singapore, before moving to Hong Kong. He studied summer intensive programs in Musical Theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
