World Football Summit – Hong Kong 2025
At the World Football Summit held last September 2–3 in Hong Kong, GK SipaG was deeply honored to receive the WFS Honors – Social & Community Impact through Sports Award.
Every year, the Summit celebrates remarkable organizations that are changing the business of football and magnifying its social impact. Out of six categories, Gawad Kalinga Football (GK SipaG FC) was recognized for its unwavering commitment to using football not just as a sport, but as a movement of hope and transformation.
This award honors outstanding initiatives and partnerships that prove how football can be more than a game — it can be a tool for inclusion, a platform for empowerment, and a bridge that connects communities. For GK, it is a testament to the power of "bayanihan" — the spirit of unity and working together for the common good.
