Your support of Gawad Kalinga USA's Child and Youth Development Fund helps children and youth in underserved Filipino communities grow up nourished, educated, and empowered. We focus on hunger relief, literacy, life skills, and values formation through a holistic set of programs:

Kusina ng Kalinga+ (Care Kitchen) provides nutritious weekday lunch meals to at least 300 children in public school or GK community for 120 days.
SipaG builds confidence and character through futsal and values-based sports.
SEED Philippines equips rural youth to become social entrepreneurs through training in business, agriculture, and leadership.
Maleta Library delivers mobile reading kits to spark the love for learning in remote or disaster-affected areas.
READ (Reading for Excellence And Development) formerly known as ARAL supports struggling readers through volunteer teacher-led tutoring activities and assessment using Department of Education prescribed assessment tools.

With community volunteers and strong local partnerships, Gawad Kalinga ensures these programs reach those who need them most. From meals to mentorship, books to business skills, every initiative helps unlock the potential of the next generation.
