GK USA Tampa is helping build 50 more homes for GK Vergara Community.

GK Vergara Community is located at the suburb area of Ormoc City. In 2014, GK started organizing 50 families in the area who lived mostly in shanties at the the danger areas. Most of them area survivors of the flashflood that hit Ormoc City in 1991. 

The GK Vergara is an empowered community having been able to attend values formations session. While they are waiting and praying for the sponsors of their housing, they kept themselves in helping other communities in bayanihan and other GK activities. 

Building communities that address landlessness and homelessness will break this vicious cycle.
